Self-Mastery

Updated: Dec 31, 2021

"The chain is only as strong as its weakest link"

Thomas Reid, Intellectual Powers of Man (pg 377)

Self-Mastery is our ability to identify our weaknesses and biases through our Self-Awareness, Reflective Mind Map and use our Learning and Training to respond to those with constructive habits that make us stronger people. We are able to have a unified, coherent self that we apply to situations universally that we are able to develop and focus on as a constant which we develop a creative expression with in future, unknown situations. We are able to be strong in our own identities and relationships with others when we are able to honestly grow from our weaknesses.

We are able to learn from others who see parts of ourselves we do not through allowing our self-awareness to grow by engaging in ethical intimate relationships. Others can see weaknesses we cannot and our ability to honestly allow their observations as part of our self-awareness can yield a greater awareness.

To fully find our expression of being, we will have to transcend our personal psychological biases and limitations, the limitations of our social group and the limitations of our cultural boundaries. Once we have transcended all of the components of our being, we will have the power to overcome any obstruction that blocks our path of becoming.

Oops! It's one of those situations again. Apparently, this chapter is still being researched and written. Achilles has been busy coordinating the Community Housing Program and designing the Flow Optimization consulting program. Check back soon for the completion of the first draft of this chapter!
